Who is behind Sari Irene Art?

Sari Hurme-Mehtälä is a Finnish female artist from Finland currently having an art studio in Kirkkonummi. She is also the member of the Nordic Artists of the New York. She received an arts stipend in high school and applied to The University of Arts, and almost got in. Art studies at the open university were inspiring but the commercial media and advertising world took over for 20 years and did not paint at all, as she felt there was never time for it.

When the pandemic started in 2020, Sari started to paint to prevent a burnout as she was the founder & CEO for an international edtech startup having customers from 30 countries. Abstract art paintings were piling up and family and friends wanted those. Then also art collectors around the world started to buy those. So far from Finland, France, Switzerland, Mexico, UK, US and United Arab Emirates. Sari founded her own limited company Sari Irene Art Oy in 2023, the same time she sold her startup to the USA. Sari has had her art also at many international exhibits overseas, like in New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Dubai, Paris, London, Berlin and Mexico.
